Meet Pittsburgh Youth for Climate Action (PYCA).
Some projects PYCA students are working on:
Climate advocacy through creating reusable art projects hung around their neighborhoods
Work to pass Climate Action Resolutions in their school districts. The first Climate Action Resolution that was passed in the state of PA was due to student outreach at Woodland Hills School District. Read that resolution here.
Collaborating with Fridays for the Future Pittsburgh branch to rally and organize around climate change
Gaining leadership skills in areas such as public speaking and advocacy work.
