Volunteers Assemble 450 Climate Change Solution Kits

On November 6th, 24 volunteers joined Communitopia's staff and board to assemble 450 Climate Solution Kits at the Education Partnership. The kits are a series of three hands-on, solution-oriented boxes on clean energy, green infrastructure, and waste management that provide youth opportunities for scalable climate action at home, at school, and in the community. With all the helping hands, it only took us 3 hours to assemble all the kits. A special thanks to Stacy and the wonderful staff at the Education Partnership. We couldn't have done it without you! Distribution to area students starts on Monday 11/15! The kits ensure our region's youth can BUILD, LEARN, and ACT on climate change.

If you teach students from the following city neighborhoods or neighboring municipalities, you are eligible to receive a classroom set of kits for free!
